I have been asked on numerous occasions about how someone seeks out a mentor. Unfortunately, I never had a solid answer to this question. The value of having mentorship cannot be understated and is critical for the future of our profession. Hence, the development of OT2MentorMe.com. This website is built with the purpose of pairing OTs and OTAs who desire mentorship with experienced therapists. The pairing process is critical to relationships, therefore, an evidence-based approach is utilized to connect people based on the information we gather. Think of it like a dating website that gathers information to make the “perfect match”. Whether an individual is a new graduate, looking to switch treatment domains, starting a business, has a desire to develop leadership skills, or any other need for mentorship, OT2MentorMe.com will facilitate a collaboration that will provide them with the mentorship they need.
